Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Digital Pakistan, Tania Aidrus states that U.S tech giant, IBM is launching P-tech to help develop and equip the workforce with technical and professional proficiency in artificial intelligence, data science, cyber security, design thinking and professional skills. Regarding this, Aidrus tweeted:
IBM is launching Open P-TECH in Pakistan to help develop talent and equip them with technical and professional proficiency in AI, Data Science, CyberSecurity, Cloud, etc – enabling our workforce for a #DigitalPakistan.
P-TECH will help ensue digital learning on cutting edge technology, students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills as they apply for employment or higher studies, through this platform teachers will have access to activities and lesson plans to extend their technical and professional learning. Besides this, they will also have access to administrative features to enhance and monitor student learning experience.
